STAFFING COORDINATOR (OPEN)
Staffing Plus is looking to add a new team member! We are hiring a Staffing Coordinator who will have the primary responsibilities for scheduling our temporary associates to assignments and maintaining and developing client relations. The perfect person for the job must be a team player, have superior communication skills, be able to build and maintain relationships, have a keen eye for detail, be able to handle many tasks at one time and enjoy helping to create success stories with members of our community looking for work. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
1. Instructs new hires regarding assignments, how to check in to work locations, what
appropriate dress for each work assignment/client is, and how to report call offs, etc.
2. Properly assigns new employees to the right skills, background/drug test groups and qualified clients in NextCrew.
3. Utilizing the NextCrew software schedules best qualified candidates for job assignments.
4. Manages the employment cycle for all employees with regard to all areas of Employee relations. Documents information relevant to employees job performance in each employee's NextCrew profile. Process terminations as necessary for violation of
Attendance policy. Updating all spreadsheets as necessary regarding termination.
Filling out the termination slip for proper documentation in file.
5. Follow up with employees as it relates to their job assignments before the job and after the job.
6. Follow up with clients each morning to check in with temporary employees to see if they arrived at their shift and to report any absences with a status update of replacement.
7. Maintain good communication with the clients assigned to their workload. Including
sending staffing sheets for the day/week, inputting job orders as they come in, updating clients as to staffing levels for the week.
8. Seek out prospective clients with the use of the Hour of Power spreadsheet. Including sending out cold emails, cold calls, and making drop in visits to potential new clients. Notate the activity to get new business in the spreadsheet. This is a job duty that will take place during any downtime.
9. Communicates on a consistent and professional manner within the office regarding
staffing levels, information to/from the client and relaying job orders as they come in.
10. Manage the Staffing Plus employee phone taking all inbound calls.
11. Off Hours phone coverage during the week. Weekend coverage on a rotational basis.
12. Become proficient in the software utilizing its tools and resources to its fullest potential and sharing updates with other employees in the office.
13. Develop and maintain an employee appreciation program including monthly incentives, attendance, performance, etc. In addition to sending out monthly birthday cards to employees.
14. Monitor employee performance/behavior and provide feedback to the employee as the need arises.
15. May be required to travel to the Joplin office, as the need arises, to interview candidates and make client visits.

As a Production Technician you will be responsible for various tasks in the flawless printing and creation of our extremely popular products; such as, photographs, greeting cards, calendars, photo books and albums, and specialty items. Technicians may be asked to perform tasks along all points of the production process; including, production prep, printing, sublimating, trimming, mounting, quality checks, counts, and packaging. Technicians may be working with hand tools, printers, or other production machinery.

Staffing Plus is assisting a national technical school to find exceptional Appointment Coordinators. The Appointment Coordinator is responsible for placing outbound calls as well as answering inbound phone inquiries. The Coordinator is the first impression for the school, so it’s imperative the person is friendly, customer service driven, articulate, able to think on the fly, and develop a personal rapport quickly. The Coordinator explains the admissions process to the student, answers questions regarding the program, fact finds in order to assess interest and sets an appointment for a campus tour.
Required:

This is a true temporary position. Starting pay is $15/hr. Shifts are 8 hours, Mon-Fri, beginning 8am-11am, through 5pm-8pm, and one 4 hour Saturday shift per month.

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for the company. Duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will also coordinate front desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. Pay is $15.15/hr.
Responsibilities include:
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office

SHIFT LEAD- (OPEN)

Overview:
Supports supervisor and performs duties when supervisor is out of office. Leads team, sets up shift, instructs, and maintains the workflow. Assist supervision and management in communicating company goals, expectations objectives and deadlines to team. Responsibilities and Duties
• Assists supervisor in daily activities. Open and close shift and building as needed.
• Perform regular daily responsibilities of Fork-Lift Operator and Order Selector
• Trains new employees in job duties, RF Scanner use and WMS System
• Assists in interviewing and hiring process, assessing potential fork-lift operators.
• Conducts team meetings daily / as needed
• Evaluate team member performance and quality and re-train as necessary
• Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems
• Checks and Inspects work of crew
• Assures team is operating safely, driving safely and filling out fork-lift pre-inspection.

Staffing Plus is assisting a local tire company to find Tire Technicians for a temp to hire position. Shift is Monday-Friday 8-5pm. Job requires employee to have their own Steel Toed Boots and must be willing to consent to background check and drug test.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
Identifying and inflating tires correctly for the size and ply.
Placing wheels on balancing machines to determine counterweights
required to balance wheels.
Raising vehicles using hydraulic jacks.
Remounting wheels onto vehicles.
Locating punctures in tubeless tires by visual inspection
Unbolting wheels from vehicles and removing them, using lug
wrenches and other hand and power tools.
Reassembling tires onto wheels.
Replacing valve stems and removing puncturing objects.
Hammering required counterweights onto rims of wheels.
Rotating tires to different positions on vehicles, using hand tools.

TRAILER MECHANIC- (OPEN)
Staffing Plus is looking to hire a Trailer Mechanic for a local trailer dealer in Springfield. A strong candidate will have experience as a Trailer Mechanic. Must be able to read tape measure and use tools as necessary.
Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm
Days: Monday through Friday
The job duties include:
• Diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trailers, including
preventative maintenance, inspections, repair to air and
hydraulic brakes, tires, warranty procedures, driveline,
steering and suspension, electrical, mobile AC refrigeration.
• Diagnose and repair trailer components such as doors, floors
and side panels.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on tractor and trailer
equipment including routine technical repairs and completing
repair orders.
• Remain technically proficient in all areas of the shop including
tractor, trailer, tire, and basic parts administration.
• Perform general or routine welding with or without
prints. Welding experience is a plus but not required.
• Must provide own tools
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the
time
• Must be able to use power tools
• The people who succeed as Trailer Mechanics have
